Slow-Cooker Salsa Verde Chicken
Tender, juicy chicken breasts slow-cooked in tangy salsa verde for an incredibly versatile filling for tacos, bowls, or salads.

Ingredients
- 24 oz Boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 2 cup Salsa verde
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- a pinch Salt and black pepper
- 2 tbsp Fresh lime juice
- 4 tbsp Fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
Add the chicken breast, salsa verde, cumin, salt, and pepper to the basin of a slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours, or on HIGH for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker. Stir in the fresh lime juice and chopped cilantro. Serve warm in tacos, burrito bowls, or salads.
